So the first week of school's over. Although it was only 3 days long, I think it's good that we're eased into school and not just thrown into it. Think it'd leave most of us dizzy with shock with back to school blues. It's been pretty relaxing since we had a temporary lecture schedule though there's already 2 tests piled on plus the hol homework which i obviously haven't completed :). Well, like huang said on her blog, thanks to huang and the two guys for keeping company for the three days.
Orientation Bond 007 was also going on the past 3 days. Its startling to see how enthusiastic the ogls can get the freshies to be. Astonishing actually. All of them were cheering and thoroughly enjoying themselves it seemed. Though it came at a price. Some of the ogls lost their voice. in derrick's words "I've never had such strong school spirit before. It's scary." oh well. its the atmosphere.
Had training at school yesterday. Played for the longest stretch I've ever in a while. From 12.30pm to about 5.30pm i reckon? Yeah and we ran some rounds. Supposed to meet the rest at city hall today before heading to waterfront. Soph was at lavendar with no means of communication, not knowing we changed the meeting place. And to think her good friend thought she would probably sit there stupidly and wait even as it gets later -.- in the end the 5 of us took the train to lakeside. Training was pretty tough since the weather was merciless. Blisters from training and all of us were flushed.
Some of us decided to have lunch cum tea cum dinner at sushi tei since zhiwei was heading there to work after training. So zhiwei left first before faye, soph, allan, hoe seng, ernest and i left waterfront tennis centre for taka.
anyway. sushi tei. yeah zhiwei or.. (aloysius) attended to us. haha. he was trying to be kinda professional though it was us. faye was so hyped up about the sushi. and the sashimi.some of us had teriyaki chicken don.. ebi fry don.. ernest had sukiyaki. interesting aye. zw aka aloysius lighted it up and he was waiting for it to boil so he could put the 3 slivers of beef in to cook so he called for aloysius again to ask when is it ever gonna boil. "it won't." er hem. apparently it wasnt suppose to. haha. oh yeah and we were teasing zhiwei that sushi tei has no budget to get lighters cos most of the lighters didnt work when we intended to relight up e sukiyaki.
dared faye to drink down the raw egg that came with ernest's food for 10 bucks. haha eventually she didnt but instead she poured it right into his sukiyaki. mm. ernest doesnt eat egg. so he made so much noise about it, trying to scoop our the egg yolk and stuff. instead it slipped back down and his soup splattered over me. ernest was basically full of crap most of the time like learning to pronounce "salmon" and threatening to "complain to the manager" most of the time and allan being pervertic as usual. haha. zhiwei treated us to this sushi platter kinda thing. it was delicious. while faye was in her own lil world what with smelling ernest's bvlgari cologne and basking in the ambience with sushi and sashimi before her. lets just say zhiwei did try his best to help.. too bad we didnt leave a tad earlier. really nice of him though. thanks zhiwei :)
all of us were so full we were staggering out of sushi tei. peach sherbet was nice. so was the mochi and faye's black sesame sherbet.
we were talkin bout piercings when allan decided to get his ear pierced today. faye wanted her tongue piercing but didnt get it in the end. since faye left earlier i had to lead the guys to bit and pieces since they had no clue where it was situated. piercing was done pretty quick. at least i was there when he was getting it pierced since he was not listenin to whatever instructions the lady was giving regarding cleaning the hole and stuff. must be the pain. tsk. so i had to disseminate the information to him again after we left. ernest couldnt bear to watch. tsk.
well. its been a tiring day. still have tennis tmr. i hope all these jap food digests sooner. im full.
and contented.

oh man ok i shall update. it's just that so much has happened and the holidays have just been so enjoyable i didnt really have the time to just sit down and relate all that has happened. but basically, christmas and the new year was awesome. i 'countdowned' for the first time at Orchard.. the crowd was crazy. but i guess i do prefer just sitting and having a nice quiet countdown with a caramel frap and oreo cheesecake :) company was great
i'm not gonna talk bout 2006 because its over. the holidays were great. best i've had by far i reckon. perhaps its because i didnt go overseas so it seemed more fruitful and passed just that little bit slower.
well schools reopens tmr. SHIT. i think neither Irina nor i have ever dreaded the coming of the new school term so much. well. thats ok. we all hav to mature. we all have to go through this.
it's supposed to be a tough year but ya know what.its the last yr as a college student.
let this be a great yr :)

oh man ok i shall update. it's just that so much has happened and the holidays have just been so enjoyable i didnt really have the time to just sit down and relate all that has happened. but basically, christmas and the new year was awesome. i 'countdowned' for the first time at Orchard.. the crowd was crazy. but i guess i do prefer just sitting and having a nice quiet countdown with a caramel frap and oreo cheesecake :) company was great
